Default My 85 f/1.4 in the Cactus Nursery...

...so, I walked through a local cactus nursery today with my son before his soccer game. Just got my warming filter...and after seeing Martha36's great results with this filter, I couldn't resist the southwestern flare of these pots. Martha....you are my "density!" (taken from Back To The Future....all rights reserved)

You should be proud of me....I didn't "selective colorize" this one!!!

cactus nursery (1 of 1)

...more to come! Ciao, Bella!

Amazing colour in this shot. What kind of filter were you referring to? I like it!

Hi Jim! Very Nice Capture, so Bright and Vibrant! That's a great little lens you have there and the warming filter looks like it works well.
Thanks for sharing this
Michael.

Thanks, Michael! This new 85 f/1.4 has definitely become my favorite! The warming filter is a very complement to it.

That is a GORGEOUS photograph. The colors are so vivid yet soft at the same time. Everything looks slightly melty and surreal, yet sharp as a tack. And the filter inspiration is a two-way street. I was planning on going out sometime this week with my color filters for b/w shots, after thinking about the ones you did a while ago

Really, nice job on that. I can see it framed in a sunroom or garden room.

Thanks, Martha. I think I'm going to offer it to the owners of the nursery. Definitely going to add it to my 11x14 portfolio, and try to sell it in a local frame shop. Thanks for looking!

Wow Jim, boys and their toys I'm envious buddy, thats a impressive lens, and at f1.4 an extremely shallow DoF, you can see the best sharpness on the three stacked orange bowls with and those before and after slightly off, I like the vivid colours, and the vignette, nicely done my friend, I like it
