Default Urban Renewal Part III B&W's

My journey continues into B&W conversion. I decided to keep these really high contrast, especially the reflection shots, in an effort to replicate the dim lighting that was at the job site (Georgia Hotel). I like the darkness of these shots. Anyway, I hope you enjoy them.

You are getting the B & W captures down! I can't wait to see the After shots. Great job on the reflected shots as well.
Thanks for sharing these

Thank you kgb224. I was not sure how people would respond to such dark photos, but I figured Zi would try this route with these shots as my goal was to represent the mood created by such lighting.

Thanks Michael. Your generous comments are always appreciated. It will be quite a while for this job to become completed, but I plan on trying to capture its progress. The weather here is getting pretty wet, (as most locals expect for this time of the year), and the roof is not sealed. I was thankful to have some puddles inside, although my brother developing the building would not appreciate my enthusiasm. Cheers.

Thanks Fred. I am trying to think outside of the box these days just to keep my photography alive for myself! It is fun challenging yourself with odd subjects etc. Cheers.

Wonderful! I'm loving these B&Ws, and have started converting more of my own after seeing so many of you guys do it so well. I love the lines in these shots, as well as the light coming in from the windows, and the reflections too in the water on the floor. Awesome!

Thanks Nicky. Be forewarned, once you start into B&W you could become addicted!
