Default Wetlands at Changnyeong South Korea

Good Morning DPS Family, I got up early yesterday and drove to Changnyeong to the UPO Wetlands. I got there before the crowds and was able to get a few shots in. I knew it would be a good day when I heard all the Geese honking before I even saw the water.

The Take Off

Vinous-Throated Parrotbill (Paradoxornis Webbianus) These little Guys are so fast, but this young one stopped for a quick pose.

Field Spider (The Wetlands is also a Wonderful place for Macro opportunities as well)

South for the Winter. (These are Bean Geese (Anser Fabalis), the most common right now. But the Artic Swans are arriving as well. Soon Wood Duck and many others will arrive.

I hope you enjoy these, I know I enjoyed taking them.
Thanks for looking and have a Blessed Day!

Thanks Ian! I kept trying to get this shot, but they move through the undergrowth so fast that it's almost impossible to get the shot off. There were dozens of them in lighting fast flocks.

Great shots all around, you're getting the hang of that long glass.

Thanks Fred! I've found the Sigma 150-500mm isn't as bad as I thought, I just have to realize it's not Nearly as Bright as the Canon 500mm f/4.0 and adjust accordingly. I'll have the new Canon 7D in a week or so and i'm anxious to see what it will do when I can use the micro adjust with the Bigma.
