Default A Fall Stroll...

Yesterday I took a short photo/walk through a park near by my home. Swanson Park is large and woody. I was looking to capture a few fall colors. Here in Kansas, we lack all the variety of color as in places like New England. Still, there are pretty reds, yellows and orange to be seen. As well as a few surprises sometimes.

One of the trees greeting you as you enter Swanson Park along with the ubiquitous prairie grass.

What would fall be without a red leafs?

We've come to "that" bridge, now it's time to cross...

Today, I had company on my stroll...

Thanks for walking with me. We will have to walk again soon.

Great captures of fall colours. I like the bridge shot and great DOF in the second one. TFS

great set .. the 2nd is my fav from a photographic point of view, and the 3rd with its perfect commentary makes it the most descriptive capture of what's ahead I've considered this fall.. brrrrr ..

Beautiful set! Love how you captured the deer. They spook real easy, but your capture makes it look like it was nothing for your model to pose. I love fall so much, and here in Japan the leaves haven't changed yet. So I love looking at everyone's pictures of the season's change. TFS!!

Thanks Jack Russell! I like a good DOF shot, but paths and bridges are really drawing. Ready or not, here comes fall.

Thanks summer, believe it or not. I stood and photographed those deer for five or six minutes. I spent a fall and winter in Misawa in 1978-79. That's were I bought my first Canon SLR film that is.
