Default First profesional maternity shoot

I did my first real maternity shoot a last week. My sister in law was pregnant and I knew that she was not going to go full term. So I was pushing my wife to get the shoot scheduled finally we scheduled it for Sunday. Sunday morning we heard she was in the hospital in labor... at 10 they sent her home because she was not dilated enough. While still in labor we did the photoshoot at 5:00pm. We drove home and found out she went back to the hospital at 10pm Sunday night and I have a new Niece Olivia Monday at 3:15PM. So the shoot was less than 24 hours before Olivia was born. Talk about cutting it close. I really wanted her to have a white shirt because you can see the belly more clearly but my wife told her black because she was afraid I was going to be using strobes and the shirt would be blown out. I did not find this out tell at the shoot. :/ We got to use the coolest barn. It was my brother in laws John's great grandfathers barn. They actually still use it to this day and it is over 100 years old. I love old buildings.
