Default Road trip

Here are 3 shots from a recent road trip all with the new 17-40mm L lens

1. My Father

2. Central South Africa - The Karoo, outside the town of Colesberg

3. The proprietor at the guest lodge we used one night - COLESBERG ACCOMMODATION, Northern Cape Self Catering Accommodation, Colesberg bed and breakfast, The Barracks.
Top quality racantour with a serious collection of brandy and Boer War Memorabilia. We enjoyed one of the finest roast lamb dinners in recent memory (the area is famous for sheep farming)

Wonderful images! The B&W portrait of your dad is lovely - what a great smile he has. I'm sure he loves that shot. And the landscape is beautiful. Also love the perspective of the bar shot. He's just surrounded by all those bottles, they make a great frame for the picture.

Thanks

Here is one of the NG KERK (Church) in Graaf Reniet.
Most small towns in South Africa have the most magnificent churches as central to the town plan. This is one of the best. Unfortunately it is taken hand held in the middle of the road (traffic and all) & I don't have the energy to clone out those vehicles.
