Hi DPS Friends - I have been gone a few days on vacation to Asheville, NC to the Biltmore House and then to Gatlinbug. I want to share my adventures with you so this will be a mini-series...

Day 1 highlights a beautiful waterfall I we happened upon while driving thru Great Smoky Mountains National Park and a couple of shots of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Unfortunately, there was not a lot of color yet, and it was rainy and gloomy up there.

Meigs Falls on Little River - Great Smoky Mountains National Park (it was raining when I took this so I was very thankful for my daughter, who held the umbrella over me, my camera and tripod)

Views from an overlook - these views will look dramatically different on day 3 - because it snowed up there.....

Water and fog! My two favorite components in a great shot! Unfortunately, we don't have much of either her in Arizona!!!

Nice shots! Very refreshing!!
