Default Dropped in for a coffee at a cafe .................

..... in Orewa, north of Auckland. The name of the cafe was Kaizeu and I would recommend it if you ever pass by. Now to the foto - spotted the tulips in vases on each table but this shot was across the other side of the cafe. Tried one with a flash and one without which I prefer.

Lense VR 18-105mm
Exposure 1/60 sec f5.6
Focal length 105mm
ISO 200
No flash

Tulips at Kaizeu Cafe, Orewa, Auckland

... then spotted father xmas in town

Father Xmas, Orewa, Auckland

Currently away on holiday for 10 days looking after 3 grand-children ( if you can call that a holiday ) whilst their parents are away at a wedding overseas. I can only use Photoshop 7 here which restricts my PP work - I have CS4 at home.

The flowers are really beautifully composed Bernz and the color is lovely.
The second shot reminds me of things to come.

I love the tulip shot, Bernz! It looks like the one on the right is just plain exhausted from posing all day! Nicely done!

Hi Bernz. Nice captures here. Really like the first image, well composed and I love the contrast among the dark red wall, white vases and bright tulips. Enjoy your holiday!

Two great shots, Bernz, but the tulip shot is very very nice. I agree with Mike and the others about the colour contrast with the back wall really pulling that shot together. Great job.
