Default Swimming at Dawn

The insomniac in me sprung into gear at 4am this morning and I felt an urge to capture some sunrise shots.

The sunrise itself was a little disappointing, but my favourite place on Sydney's northern beaches - Turrimetta - never fails to disappoint. I wasn't brave enough to venture into the water though - still too cold for me!!

I have to agree the first capture is great, the lighting is excellent how it catches the rails on the left.

Thanks for the welcome and kind comments.

Now I've worked out a method for establishing my shutter speeds in the pre-dawn darkness, I've set myself a project - photographing each of the more than 30 sea pools along Sydney's eastern suburbs - I'll be very happy if I've captured them all within 12 months.
