Default Blue eyes x 2

Trying to get some good shots for some Christmas gifts and none of them turned out as well as I wanted. Really like the first one, but the hand behind the elbow is bugging me. Maybe I'm being too critical of myself, but they just seem too soft. I have also cropped the hole in the brick out...thought I did that before I uploaded...guess not.

Best of the bunch, I think...but may need some crop on the left side.

I agree, wonderful captures. It's funny how self-critical we can be though - I guess if the hand bugs you enough you can always crop the shot more. I doubt most people would even notice it though. Handsome young men too - they'll have all kinds of ladies chasing them soon!

Great pictures! You did such a nice job with the backgrounds. I wouldn't worry too much about the hand - no one will notice, and it's not like it's just a random hand that somehow appeared in the picture - it's obvious who the owner is

Good shots, Maison. If you really like the first one, you can easily "clone out" the hand behind the elbow in PS.

Otherwise, they'd make great Xmas gifts!

hey myMaison..you have two great looking boys there..i surmise these are the ones who are getting cameras for Christmas?you should..afterall they were obviously cooperative for doing the shoot..

and go easy on yourself..you can always play around the PP..and if not satisfied you can always re-shoot..but from where i am sitting i am looking at three good photos..

These are wonderful...handsome boys...I doubt others would be as critical as you are of yourself.

Thank you...yes, I do think we are too critical of our own work sometimes. And they are too cute for their own good! It scares me every day! I had taken this shot a few months ago, but wanted something with a little more contrast...didn't realize they both had on blue shirts until we were at the park! So, I have 2 hawaiian shirts or 2 blue shirts...or we do it again...they ought to love that! Maybe do a collage with one of each!

...and yes Jennie, the older one is getting the camera. He's very artistic and I think he would do well and enjoy learning about taking photos and pp...and maybe he can then teach me! ha!
