Default Man with Aids

I was in San Francisco visiting my brother and we went down to China Town to eat.

We saw this man sitting there and I watched him for a moment as the majority of the people either quickly passed him by or gave him a dirty look.

I was amazed how no one helped him and the lack of compassion many had towards him.

I remember a mother grabbing her daughter and moved the girl to her other side so as not to get near him.

I finally took a picture of him as this is one of my favorite pictures.

That doesn't surprise me I'm sorry to say...See that stuff all the time.
A really good shot....very sad.
My best friend died of aids several years ago...it is a devastating illness and doesn't always occur by bad behavior.

Dear Brent,
What a sad moment! I feel sorry for him! Your photo tells the story clearly, though it happens everywhere in the world!
Great work!

My heart aches for this man... great capture.
It is so sad that people can be so heartless,
but what saddens me more is that it doesn't surprise me.
Thank you for sharing
