Sunsets for Dave AKA: Jake the Pig
Hello, DPS friends of Dave! I'm dedicating my 1000th post milestone to our friend Dave!
I know this may be a slight breach of etiquette, posting more than once in 24 hours, but Dave's is a worthy cause! I've talked with Lorraine (angeleyes), and she likes the idea. Dave has, among other things, an affinity for sunsets. So, while he's in the hospital, this thread will give him some sunshine in an otherwise dark hospital room. If you would, please post your best sunset shot! This will provide him with some spectacular views from all over the world...and he'll have the best seat in the house! Get well soon, Dave!!!!

Congrads on 1k Jim ! .. and a real beauty sunset !
Well I could never pick a " best " sunset or sunrise.. But this is a never before seen shot, taken more then 6000 shutter clicks ago and many months ago, when David and I were fairly new here at DPS and were fast becomming buddies so it fitting for a tribute and a get well   I hope to see brand new shots from Jake when your up to it. In the meantime , get some rest, relax and DPS and all of us will be here when your up and about. Thanks EQ ... great idea for a thread, Sunrise/Sunsets always offer a lift when someone needs one ! Vin
