Default New Hampshire Trip #2 - A Pond

I posted photos of the barn. Now here are photos of the colors around a lake near my friends' home.

Any time I tried moving the waterline up or down to try to fit with rule of thirds, the color didn't have the same balance and symmetry, so I left it this way - the overall blue color was really my emphasis, rather than any of the features of the landscape.

I held the camera just above the water surface to get depth and kept the waterline lower in the shot to enhance the "bigness" of nature.

Pretty reflections:

No, I don't know them... but I like their boat!

These pics are gorgeous. I am envious. Our fall colors were drowned and washed away in cold and rain. Yours are just beautiful.

Thanks!

It was a more gorgeous season than I remember in the 4 years I lived up there. I'm very glad I decided to visit this year! On the bus between Boston and Hanover, I was staring out the window thinking it looked as if someone had overdone photoshop because the colors looked unreal they were so strong and vibrant!
