Default Urban Renewal Part 2

A few more shots from and of the Georgia Hotel. I found that working with outside lighting in a dim inside environment to be a challenge, and I may try HDR's of the same building this weekend.

Lovely shots that must of been a nightmare to get right, I agree with Hayward, that 1st one is made for some hdr treatment.

I like the first shot too. Hope you share it with the suggested HDR processing.

These are excellent Paul. So often we are left with a very dark forground with this type of picture but these are spot on, well done mate

These are all nice shots. I really love the first one...have an affinity for black and white brick and cement. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Hayward. I will post one in the comparison forum of the critique section. I like the shot the way it is though, and my concern is that I will lose the contrast of the dark window frame.

Thanks Paul. Basically HDR is High Dynamic Range processing, and is used to get details in extremely contrasty shots in bot shadow areas and blown out areas.

Thanks Steve. I agree that the shots stand on their own as is, and as I mentioned to Hayward, that HDR may work against me in terms of maintaining the dark contrast in the window frame.

Thanks omis. I am with you on the whole B&W thing. I am becoming a B&W junkie, and plan on focusing on this style heavily in the next while.
