Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful....I always like the sun behind clouds and the purples in the sky and the purple of the mountain provide wonderful balance and great contrast to the gold of the sun.

This just makes me smile. Since my girlhood, I have long seen "sleeping ladies" in mountains. I love her mauve "negligee" and her gentle "nightlight." It's such a soothing photo and a nice way to start a day.

Hello Linda, didn't you notice the warm blanket of snow sliding off her body as she warms by the glow of the sun reaching for solstice? Thanks for being there.

Thanks fstopMike, the sky does play a large role in this shot. Glad you liked it.

Stunning visual! I'd love to look out on that view every night for the rest of my life if I could.
