I tried and failed to get some shots like this at Divali - excellent photos - I've obviously still got a lot to learn.

Susie : even i had to try many times before i got these shots right. and i m trying to learn and improve.. shot by shot, and theres a long learning curve ahead of me.

All these are great. I love the 3rd shot.
Eventhought Diwali was also celebration here ni my country, I didn't have a chance to photograph any.

The perspective and lighting on the third shot is superb! Defo my fave!

Editing software: Mixture of picasa, Corel Paintshop Pro X2 Flickr
Due to medical problems my spelling/grammar will always be atrocious, for that i apologise, thank god for spell check on firefox lol
