Default The Fly

I kind of like the contrast here between a soft, dreamy shot and the ugly reality of a macro shot of the fly.

I think these are really quite lovely. Super sharp and excellent exposure. Well done

Martha, both of these are really good pictures. They are very contrasting, I think the first one is my favorite, I like the color, reflection and that dreamy look. Good Job

Yeah...I agree. Too much detail is not necessarily a good thing! I do like the mirrored reflection of the first one, too! I'm guessing that this was a static display of a deceased fly??

Cool shots!

the clarity in the second is equisite i would love to see a zoom in on that(hint lol!!). I love the reflection with the first and the colour, Yup an amazing difference in the contrast of the two photos.

Yes, thanks to the macro lens and the extension tubes, dead bugs have new meaning for me My daughter is now bringing me dead bugs and parts of bugs she finds outside, which is probably an indication I've gone too far!

Beauty and the beast!! Yikes! Tremendous detail on your second...sometimes there can be too much of a good thing. Well done

I really like the first (although the second is fantastic too!). The softness makes it seem kinda pretty for a fly!!
