I kind of like the contrast here between a soft, dreamy shot and the ugly reality of a macro shot of the fly.

Yeah...I agree. Too much detail is not necessarily a good thing! I do like the mirrored reflection of the first one, too! I'm guessing that this was a static display of a deceased fly??

the clarity in the second is equisite i would love to see a zoom in on that(hint lol!!).
