Default Crabby crab

Getting this shot really tested my patience to the max. Crabs on the beach are notoriously shy and I was really keen on getting a good macro shot of one, so there I was in the early morning, on my stomach, waiting and waiting and waiting for the little sucker to show itself. Eventually, I gave up and poked a blade of grass down the hole. That had the desired effect, though the crab was very annoyed at the intrusion!

The most difficult shots are the best.
