Haven't posted much in the last few weeks as we've had nothing but rain and I lacked inspiration. So, our first sunny day in weeks and we headed up to the mountain for some "color" shots. Unfortunately we are still about 2 weeks from peak color, but did manage to snag some waterfall shots. And as we were hiking in/out, we were on the lookout for mushrooms. (I've got 3 cool ones to post at a later date, but this one reminded me of a halloween mask that got it's head bashed in!

My 11yr old took this photo...and he was standing on top of a boulder above the waterfall (10+ feet) stream! This view is looking downstream from the above waterfall.

Nice set of shots, got some nice fall colours in there. love the waterfall one.

Thanks...one of the easiest hikes to a waterfall we've done...considering it was 4 miles roundtrip.

I love the first waterfall picture, although they are all well done. Tell your 11-yr-old to keep it up! And the mushroom is cool - isn't it great, what we can see in nature when we take the time to look?
