Default While in Miami

Well I was in Miami for a few days and had time to visit the Metro zoo, these are some of the photographs I was able to take there. Have some more to post later. I hope you all enjoy viewing.

I loved the red dirt all over him, the authoroties really try to maintain the animal's natural habitat
Elephant

This guy was huge and his skin was almost dinosaur like. No I never saw a dinosaur. LOL

Indian Rhino

These two were playing around when I arrived and stopped to pose when I asked them too. Yeah right
lions 2

This beauty is just that, its my favourite big cat.
Tiger, tiger 2

Hope you all enjoy viewing.

I love the shot of the tiger. I was wondering if I could use it as the wallpaper on my computer desktop.

Gorgeous shots, Michael! A great way to mark my 900th post! I love the red in the elephant. It's not often you see that kind of color on one. All 4 are top drawer. The zoo would be lucky to have those as promo pics on their website! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Michael, These are all very well composed, I love the Elephant, I'll be in Thailand next month at the Elephant round up and I'll have lots of pictures of the Asian variety.
The Rino is amazing, as are the lions and the Tiger, all you missed is the Bears and you could have called this Lions, Tigers and Bears. Oh My!
Thanks for shariing these
Michael

Hello Michael, you've been missed, but you're back with a bang with a great animal selection, I think the elephant is my favourite, a magnificent creature, and magnificent images, I like them
