Default Newbie Photographer's First Serious Shots

I'm a relative newbie to photography and am absolutely loving this site and all the wonderful articles, posts and pictures...I'm hoping to pick up many more hints and tips so that hopefully some of my pics start to look like those here..!

Here's a couple of my first 'serious' shots, taken today on a visit to London Zoo
