Default beauty in the woods...

I thought I'd share a few shots from my morning walk with you guys..

Met this guy guarding the bridge..

Striking toadstools!

The reason why I NEED a decent Macro lens...

Wonderful sentiments on a park bench...

Cool selection - love the shot of the ferocious looking beast guarding the bridge - looks like he'd lick you to death! The bench sentiments photo is lovely - I like the mantra in it!

What an awesome shot of the dog, Chalkster! Excellent comp and bokeh on that one! I like the b/w of the memorial bench too! Nicely done!

lol...you spotted what a big softie he was! His grey brother was with him too, but wasn't as keen to pose for me.

He was a real stunner indeed. The owners took a business card from me, so I'm hoping to sort something out with them at some point. Mind you, for him and his bro, I'd do the shoot just for fun!

Cheers Fred...whilst b&w doesn't fit with the mantra of the message, I thought it just looked far better in PP.

If I'm honest, it is the first time I've seen these literally on my doorstep.
