Default Local fall colors

Ah well, yesterday was beautiful & sunny here, although a tad chilly. Today the rain is pounding down, so I'm forced to just remember the lovely colors I snapped yesterday (with my new polarizing filter in place too - I'll try not to throw this one in the river!!)! We even had snow on 2 days during the week. Winter is on its way, we seem to have skipped the autumn here.

Hope you're all well!

Honestly, the colours around here in the autumn are stunning - I love this season in the US, especially as we usually have lovely warm, sunny weather too. This year it's been weird - very wet summer & we now seem to have skipped autumn & gone straight to winter, save for a few lovely days here and there! I'm still hoping for a few more sunny and colourful days though.

Whooaa shame about the snow Nicky. At least you got these gorgeous colours in time. I just love the autumn colours especially with your lovely blue sky. Thanks for showing us the colour in your lovely part of the world.

Dave.

Beautiful captures Nicky! I like the perspective on the first one I think we have started to go a little past peak color up here, but still pretty!

Nicky, you may have skipped autumn but you've just captured some pre-winter season colours superbly, these are excellent and your presentation very professional, nice job

Great colours, and I,m a fan as you know!! It has been a weird Fall here too. The polarising filter is great. I have one on each of my 2 main lenses, otherwise I find myself scratching around to find it!!!
