Flavio you have a good eye seeing the unusual from the usual. Is the lady being helped or ignored, that square stance and stare tells me she won't be ignored much longer. The tight friends made me laugh, please warn them not to tread on the cracks for risk of being eaten by bears, Crash helmets, it's the hair and ears that suffer most damage. The man waiting for his date holding the rose as would a standard bearer. Two hours later, she hasn't turned up, his arm long since cramped hangs limp and he's a heartbeat and heartbreak, away from going to the pub alone, it's a great life and a great selection mate, I like them.

What a Great Set Flavio! "I'll be with you in a moment, I'm on the Phone" Funny, and the Second one is too funny and what a great title. Helmet hair is always a problem isn't it.
Down to his last rose, he waited for a buyer, in hopes that he could go home early. l.o.l
Thanks for sharing these
Michael.

Flavio, whatever the subject, you never disappoint. These are really good, and something I probably would never think to shoot. Thanks

Thanks Chip!
I was lucky that my camera was set to P (automatic program) otherwise I would have missed that candid opportunity.

Steve, Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
Now that you mention that, The first image is a depiction of the constant friction between the arab and jewish population in Israel. Not of the Israel-Palestine conflict, mind you. Both ladies are Israelis.
It is also an example of the complexity of the situation. On the one hand the seller wants to sell and needs the customer for her business. On the other hand, the customer seems to be jewish an therefore the seller is paying very little attention to her, as a matter of fact that is a subtle attempt to annoy her, just a bit - not too much. The phone conversation is held in arabic so the customer is not likely to understand a word.
The customer seems to be tolerant (yea, sure! she is going to snap any second), she knows that she can only get what she is looking for right there, at a good price.
They both know the rules of the "game".
That is co-existance middle east style!

Nice set, Flavio! Great candids! I like the seemingly old world vendor...which could have been the same picture 500 years ago...but now, the addition of a cell phone! Good one...

Thank you so much Leona.
The motto is: Shoot everything that moves (using a camera, only) and take pictures of all the rest.
