Hello all. ive been away for two weeks up in Cairns, Nrth QLD, Australia. We had a good time, hired an old car, went SCUBA diving, did alot of walking.. oh and shopping.. seemed to allways be "going shopping" but i didn't ever buy anything.. hmm.... Men watch out.. i think the women are scamming us..
. Some of my photos didn't come out as good i had of like, some came out better then expected. I carried my new and much loved Manfrotto tripod with me almost everywhere (and had too.. because the car we hired was a hatch back with out a proper boot. and i wasn't leaving my $1,000 tripod in the car for all to see...) this tripod allowed me to get some great angles. for one photo i was down on some rocks by a water hole (i wasn't suposed to be there according to signs but argh well) i had one leg fully extended and on the second stopping click, another leg at the shortest and the 3rd about halfway all were on different rock. haha. and i had to use live view because i couldn't get anywhere near the veiw finder, well i could have.. but i think the D90 might have been swimming.. anyway are some of the better ones. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() that one larger This last one is made from 8 "portrait" style photos, photomerged in CS4, all up 350MB and 56.5MegaPixels. =]*
