Default Divali - experimenting with taking shots in the dark
I was experimenting with taking shots in the dark without flash and put the camera (Canon EOS 30D) to full manual. The first one was taken with flash but not the other three. I've then amended the photos in Photoshop using the Shadows/Highlights only. Not sure if I've quite got it yet though. The photos are of the women in the the family I live with in India creating the rangoli - the floor decoration - for Divali.

Hi - welcome to DPS. What an amazing set of photos you have. Their piece of artwork is really cool. One of those moments that if you didnt share I wouldnt have known these moments/traditions/rituals happen (hope that makes sense!!). Nicely done. Thanks for sharing and I hope to see more of your work!
