Default newbie.. just wondering if these are any good?

I just got my Nikon D60 and I just wanted to know how do you all think I'm doing. I have SO much to learn.

Welcome to DPS....you picked the perfect sight to learn, you will find everyone hear is very helpful.
I think your photos are very good. Is that you in #3? Nice portrait. In #1, I like that it looks like a very nice place to rest and relax....(I love the sound of running water). #2 is awesome that you were able to catch the reflections from the bridge in the water.
All in all, I would say you are doing very well. (I am no expert, I just started not to long ago also.)

Thanks Ella. That's my husband in the # 3 picture. I wanted to get some great pics of the trees turning here in WV but it was an overcast dreary day and not many of the leaves had changed yet. Hopefully next weekend when we go camping.

Hi Dawna - just a word of caution - the rule here is - you can post 4photos in 1 thread --- and only 1 thread per day ... I hate to see a moderator delete one of these beautiful images of yours ...

I think they are all very nice shots. I love the bridge and the reflections. Hope we see more soon!

Absolutely...they're good! You're off to a great start! I really like the reflections in the bridge shot. It look very surreal! Welcome to DPS, and thanks for sharing!
