You had better not be done with portraits, you do incredible work! It's in the eyes...if you capture that, you get it all...and you do!

Why in the world would you be done with portraits, Ty? Did Michelangelo throw down his brush....did Ansel start shooting in color...what would have happended if Ben never met Jerry???? The horror.....the horror......

Keep shooting sir!

You're done with portraits when we SAY you're done with portraits Mr Tycooder, or when you give the safe word, which you haven't done yet.

Another excellent picture, are these album inserts or those pictures that get autographed and sent to fans, if the latter, I'd like an original set please, and not ones signed by the roadies or the drummers granny

Another wonderful pic. You do such great work, and a true photographer can't quit, there's always something to see and share!

Your portraits are fabulous, Ty. I checked out some of the others on your flickr and I must say that you have the touch in terms of fabulous lighting, and the ability to capture a great variety of expressions in people's faces. Were you in a studio to shoot these, and what kind of light setup did you use? TFS.

Is the safe word Rumplestillscans?
I must prove myself worthy of the the honor of the grand and glorious Wizzard before being allowed to do anything official for the band but if I pass all the challenges I will make certain sir that you will get an Authentic Signed album and inserts verified as authentic by an independent firm of Barristors and the drummers granny

Thank you plangereis My "studio" is my living room and Im getting hints from Mrs tycooder that it needs to be out of there before the Thangsgiving Holliday.
My lighting set up is shot against a black backround. I usually work with one light an Alien bee 800 shot through a white umbrella about 3 feet from the subject and above and to the left of the subject I somtimes use a white piece of cardbord to the right of the subject to reflect back and soften some of the shadows but i dont think I did in this case
This was shot with a nikon d90 with an 18/200 lense at about 90 mm @125th F10 0r 11 iso 200 white balance was set to flash or auto Thanks for asking I hope this helps you
