I've never shot runway fashion before but I tried and this is what came of it...

Images came out soft at full-res, is that to be expected? At 600px, they look fine.

This particular dress was part of the Femme Noir line designed by Phong Hong and debuted at the Downtown LA Fashion Week show at the MOCA.

I don't know what camera your using, but my Canon has custom functions which allow me to set the sharpness. I also shoot in RAW so I can adjust sharpness easier once I've taken the shot.

I love the angle!
Runway images are always so strictly symmetrical and straight, yours has a whole different feel.

Thanks everyone. I'm shooting with a 5DMKII. Most shots were with an 85mm at f1.8 and ISO at either 400 or 800. To be honest, I've only been shooting for less than a year now so I have a lot to learn.
