Nice shots. I especially like the second one with the house all nestled in the side of the ridge. Lovely colours. Looks like a great place to get away to to just veg out and relax

It looks nice now but in just weeks there will be several feet of snow and well below zero

Thank you. The first three were taken on a side road off the Snake River canyon Highway, near Alpine Wyoming. On the Idaho/Wyoming border right next to Palasades reservior. Here is another one of the Red Tailed Hawk. We saw it roosting on a post and stopped to see if I could get a shot, I got a few. They were all hand held and at the spur of the moment. Turned out pretty good for hand held at 300mm, I think?

Great set, I like them all, particularly the last of the four. I have a d40 and its a great little camera but that is a difficult shot at 300mm and I like it, the bonus picture is also very good, nicely done Rob
