Default Let's title this "spirit of India"

On my (now-not-so-recent) weekend trip, I stopped at a place called Bharatpur, India. Later in the evening, I saw a huge huge "dussehra" (an important Hindu festival) carnival... It looked tempting from outside, but then you know... the heat, the apparent crowd, and the dust, all made me quite apprehensive about going in.

Taking into account the fact that I try to do unusual things like stepping out of my usual air-conditioned comfort, I did go in. Soon, I knew the title I was about to set for these set of my pictures I would share with you!

The pictures could hardly capture the enthusiasm of the thousands of people that had gathered from various towns and villages, or the energy that the place was filled with.

This guy called me to ask if I could properly capture what all the stalls (hundreds of them) seemed to be selling... a local sweet... I told him I could get one better picture; He contributed:

Thanks for viewing.
Cheers!

Nice - I like the colors, composition, and angles.

Not to mention, I like fresh markets like that - could eat my way from one end to the other.
