Default My first try at smooth water and two coloured ducks

I haven't quite got it right but I wanted to share my first try with you anyway.

Waterfall

Not 100% sure what type of ducks these are......

This one is maybe a wood duck

????????

And this one is maybe a mandarin duck

???????

Thanks for looking.

I think the waterfall-pic is beautiful!! I love the contrast in movement between the rocks and the water (I don't know if that makes sense, but...) =)

Not bad at all for a first. The fall has a silky feel to it, at least on most parts.
The ducks (whatever they are, and I think they are what you said they are) are beautiful specimens and the shine in your pictures.
Nice job!

Nice job Angela, all three images have good colour and detail, and I particularly like your waterfall. I've seen these where the water looks like running salt, and of course its the authors preference, but I think you have this just about right.

Those ducks are gorgeous, what great color, great job! Not quite sure what kind they are, but they better watch out, isn't it hunting season ;-(
