Default cross country candids

A few candid shots of athletes that participated for our school cross-country team. Some of the girls were being a little bashful, but i took what i could get. After all, I was one of their coaches! Enjoy.

Oh, man, Paul. These are great. I wish shy girls could know they are beautiful. Look at her whispy tendrils and long eyes lashes. Look at those bright eyes and happy smile. And, your first. A tribute to "no pain, no gain". Outta da ballpark.

Thanks Lindy. It was the last cross-country meet of the year, and the kids were so excited to be there. I was also having a great time with them in terms of joking around etc, which I think helped with many of these shots. They really fed off my energy! Glad you enjoyed them.

Thanks, Sparda. This little guy is a real ball of energy, but in a good way. I know that some teachers do not like attitude in kids these days, but I tend to like it as long as the kids are not malicious towards each other or adults.

Great shots, Paul. These are a lot of fun and well done. I especially like the third one, it is so subtle. Great job!

Thanks Hayward. I was lucky to have my camera that day, and took advantage of my 55-250 to get these.

Thanks Mike. I had to crop that one a bit as her hand was in the photo, and came out blurred a lot, and a little overexposed. Her and her friend did not participate at practices a lot, and they did not even finish that day. Me and the other coaches had quite the chuckle when we found out!

Lovely! I think they're all awesome, the first 2 for their energy especially, but my fave is the third, bashful one! Very sweet.
