That's a very nice shot... The timing, the composition, I love it.

That is pure magic! Just woke the sleeping cats exclaiming "Wow!" Actually, this is a three "wow" photo.

Very Pretty Capture. You really nailed the Butter fly in Flight.
Lots of noise when you get to the larger sizes though, you really had the ISO cranked up for this one 3200. I don't think I've ever use an ISO setting over 1600; must have been low light?
Thanks for sharing this
Michael.

Well thank you Linda, more of a floating moth on a swimming pool than magic. Yes the truth is out. I took this shot early one morning while visiting with my daughter in Massachusetts.

Hi Mike and thanks, but what looks like a butterfly in flight is a moth floating on a swimming pool. I was supposed to be skimming debri from the surface when i noticed the moth and quickly swapped the skimmer for the camera. The reason for the high iso was because of the early morning light and the lack of contrast. An added note about the noise, what your seeing is the pool bottom liner.

Stunning image, and I'm not sure would have "fessed up" to it being a floating moth on a pool quite so early in the game. However, it's still great. I like the silver against the blue, the shadow, the background, and the composition....wait a minute, that just about covers everything, doesn't it??
