Default New addition to the family

My wife and I welcomed our first into the world over the weekend. This was the reason for the purchase of our first dSLR a few months ago and I'm so glad we made the investment.

I like the variety of your shots. We're expecting our first TWO near the end of the year...we also bought our first DSLR for the same reason. I'm already a photo-holic (my wife says when I take only one photo she gets worried because I normally have 10 from a variety of angles) so I know once the boys arrive I'll have plenty to sift through as the days go by.

Thanks everyone! Fatherhood is already so much fun.

ssims - you'll be so happy when your twins arrive that you not only upgraded the camera but took the time to learn how to use it. it's great to have a beautiful and willing subject to photograph (i think my dog is glad i'm finally done shoving the lens in his face). make sure your wife learns how to use it as well. I gave our daughter her first bath and my wife was a bit unsure about using it.

The hand gripping the thumb and the baby foot with ink, very nice... Ones to keep, you have done well to capture such a precious moment that most would have missed! Well done.
