What’s Your Preference?

This is the first time I've ever put any photos I've taken on this site. I'm only 16 and I've only been doing photography since the beginning of June, so I don't have much experience. But these are some photos I've taken and some stuff I've done in Photoshop. The first one is probably the best image I've ever captured. It's definitely my favorite. Thoughts anyone? Thanks.

Welcome to DPS shooter! I hope you'll have a lot of fun here, because it is a great place to grow and learn. I like your first one, it's shot from a good perspective. Keep shooting!

You are a lot better in Photoshop than me! I envy you for that. I like the way you full and partial colors. Keep shooting!

Thanks. I've been reading this site for since about end of June, beginning of July. I just never posted in the forums until now. I remember when I first got on here, I was shooting in full Auto mode, didn't know anything about the Exposure Triangle, and had no clue what the rule of thirds was. These pics were actually taken on my first photo shoot after understanding exposure, shutter speed, and iso speed, and learning what the rule of thirds was. These were my first shots in manual!

Now I shoot in full manual and have a pretty good understanding of all of these things...plus a lot more. Needless to say, this site has taught me virtually everything I know about photography.

DPS rocks.

That's so great! I'm new to photography too but just from seeing that I'm already jealous of your skills haha, great shot.

I really like these...and I like your PP work too. You will get better and better, but I love flowers and this is a very nice shot of one.
