Default Bark

I was playing around with the macro setting on my camera and wanted to see how a close up of the bark on the tree would turn out. I converted it to b&w and adjusted the RGB levels some.

From Shutterbug

P.S. Didn't upload this to Flickr because I only have about 25% left for my monthly upload totals. This was done with Picasa.

Great capture Shelley the black and white bring out the lovely texture of the bark. Isn't it fun to experiment. Great job and nice processing.

Dave.

Hello Thanks, and yes, macro can be a lot of fun. I can't wait til I am able to get a real macro lens and not just use the one on my camera or my telephoto lens.

I took a couple of shots focusing on the fungi or lichen or whatever it is...on a different tree. I'll check thost shots out and see about posting them maybe.
