Default Views from a Greek island

Hi everyone, I spent a lovely day recently on a nearby island which has a huge volcanic crater in the centre. It stilll emits sulphur fumes and there are places inside the crater where the ground is very hot and very spongy. To give you an idea of the size there are coaches parked on the volcano rim at the top right ( 1 o clock.)

The other pics are of the typical streets in the island.

I hope you enjoy them.

I like your views from a Greek island, the second, third and final one have a light playful touch to them and a similar theme of whats around the corner, but the first is very good, excellent camera set up results in great landscape with good colour, perspective and scale, that looks even better viewed larger on flickr, nice one teresa

I really enjoyed these shots teresa. Felt as if I could almost step into the place. If only it were that easy (and cheap!!!). Thanks for these and God bless for now. PAUL

The warm sun on my back, the aromas of an exotic land, the chords of a distant melody, a bright blue sky and the sea. Ahhhh, so pleasant, and your well done photography has transformed me to another place.

Thanks guys,

It was a beautiful day and with scenery like this photography is such a joy - especially with the sun on my back.

Oh wow, such beauty and such colour - and everything looks so clean and tidy. Another place to add to my "visit wish list"!!
Truth be told, i do have a pic of the greek islands... sorry, but it is hanging in my bathroom but thats ok, cos I get to see it every day and dream.... it has a view of a bell tower, some homes, the sea and some islands. Is a nice shot.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful shots. If I ever make it to your neck of the woods, I will look out for you LOL .
