Default I found my new home!!

I've discovered that I love shooting these old homesteads. I'm planning a couple road trips to find some more. I'm aiming for this weekend if the weather is right. I've been told where there are a few old mining communities that would be good subject matter. Until then, I present my new/old homestead.

Multiple rooms with a view!

Lots of fresh air on the south end of the house!

Fully...well...kinda...ok not at all landscaped front yard. But look! No neighbors for miles!

I also ran across this really cool old barn. It's calling for me to come back and shoot some more!

Hmmm...B&W... Good idea! I'll have to shoot a couple next time I'm out there. Thanks!

Oh...and I'd move in, but my daughter says it's too "drafty". No idea what she's talking about!

I love seeing old houses that have been left to live out the rest of their time in solitude, especially ones like these with natural air-conditioning. If only they could talk, I bet they would have a story or two to tell. TFS

They're awesome Gary! And that's prime real estate - would cost somewhere around $400k in the Boston metropolitan region. Haha!

A little pain here and some patch work there and you have your new place. LOL. Love the picture of the buckets on the step. Really nice work.

Thanks everyone!

Nicky - That's why I have to move into this little place. I can't afford your neighborhood!

BTW...for those interested, here's where this little place is located (plug this into google maps or google earth)
40.415966, -112.384142. Quiet little neighborhood!

Hmmm...B&W...and Sepia... Gonna have to try it and see what they look like!

Funny stuff, Gary! I don't know...that first room looks like it might be a good place to park your Cobra! I really like the sepia later in the thread, too! Thanks for sharing!

BTW...is that a real Shelby, or a kit? As a classic car buff, I have to ask....
