This is Air Itam Dam. It used to be the main supply of water for Penang Island. The foot of the hill of this dam is just a walking distance from my parent's house. My brother and I used to climb up to this dam when we were kids, either on foot or a bicycle. It was a challenge to climb on foot, but it's very scary to go down on a bicycle. I did a little PP on the raw file to properly exposed the sky and the foreground for this shot. ![]() This resident of this dam was just resting there. It's the biggest one I've ever seen. The shell is about 2 feet long. I wonder how old is he. ![]() Sparda http://digital-photography-school.co...es-design.html |

That's a great looking sky in the first one and the water is so calm. I saw an eighty year old turtle at a zoo once and it was huge, it amazes me at how old they can live up to. Thanks for sharing these great shots.
