Default Post 6k Two lovely places I like to be.

HI to all my DPS family. I thought for my 6000th post I would show two places that I love to be. The one in the picture is The Ribble Link Basin which is the start of the link from the Lancaster Canal to the Leeds/Liverpool Canal via the River Ribble.
The other place is right here at DPS where I met some lovely friends and learnt lots of photography tips and tricks. So this post is a thank you to YOU. All my new found family.

Thank you to you all.

Ribble Link

busy busy man! 4 more months and double my posts! You have been a great friend not only to me but to alot of people. It seems that every thread you start has one picture but it is always one that is so good that it stays around in your memory longer. You have had great flowers, the canals and barges, the town square, floppy among many other images. Soon, if you aren't there yet already, you'll be a sage! Here's to many more! Patrick

Happy Birthday, Jake!! Here's what I've found out. 6000 posts means lots of views of other people's work and lots of comments. You can't do that and not learn much and make lots of friends. It also means you know that you have to be a friend to have a friend. Thanks for being a friend to me. It would please me greatly to one day buy you a Newcastle down at your local pub.
