Red Edged Ramps

Whist in Dubrovnik on holiday, I found this side street whilst on the City wall. The red edges to the ramps stood out at the time, but not so much upon review... But I wanted to do something with this image, so B&W treatment, D&B and masked to bring through the red edges of the ramps...

The weather wasnt the best that day, the colour version is a little dull...

These ramps are unusual and I guess must be a convenience thing for hand carts and such.
I think this is a great picture enhanced by the b/w showing some of the history of this old walled city with the narrow paved back streets contrasting with the satellite dish on a building at the top of the image

Th first thing I saw was the dark ramp in the foreground then my eyes were guided by the ramps throughout the picture. Very nice!

Wow, this is a brilliant photo. There is so much to see in it, I can't keep my eyes still. And the lines really are great!
