Cool Dunglass Collegiate Church

The church was founded in 1450 for a college of canons by Sir Alexander Hume.
The handsome cross-shaped building contains a vaulted nave, choir and transepts, all with stone slab roofs.

An excellent good pair of pictures Bill, I like them both, but particularly the first image where you've controlled the light so that the outside and inside stone work is well lit, and we can still trees through the facing window, nice job

I really like these..ruins are always a favorite and the colour is great in #2, but I agree with beachcomber, that we can see the details through the shadow and into the light makes #1 very impressive, of course, it's hard to beat stone archways! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you pix_e_18, I too like taking pictures of old buildings as you can see, this one was in a really nice setting.

You really do these lovely buildings so well Bill and it's always a pleasure to see your work with them. I love the depth you show in the first one and the second one is excellent too. gorgeous colours in this one. Amazing work Bill. Thanks for sharing your excellent work with us.

I agree with Steve, That 1st one is well composed and you used the light effectively. I've never seen a stone roof like that, It must weigh tons.
