Default Some Fall colors

The first shots were taken on the way home from dropping my son off at school. The water was so still and the colors so bright. The mountain shots were taken on Mt. Evans Rd. on the last day it was open for the season...taken mostly with my kit lens I had a monster headache from the altitude, 14,000 feet! The skies washed out, how do I not have that happen again? I am reading about filters but what would I use? These are the first photo's I have posted...just a beginner so all criticisms will help me learn. I'll try not to flinch too hard

Nice shot. It really gives the feel of a Colorado fall.

Damn! I had more than one and realized I just posted for a single pic instead of the gallery, which is still small but....I think there are better shots...that wasn't my favorite.
