Good Morning DPS Family! Here are the last of the Saturday at the Wetlands shots.

What lens are you using to get the macro shots, they look great. Im hoping its a sigma 70-300 APO as that is the one I had my eye on but I wont hold my breath, these are stunning.

I looked at some of the EXIF data on your flickr page and says you are shooting at 700mm?

Hello Jnelson! The Macro Lens I used was the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
The Sigma 70-300 your looking at isn't a macro lens, but it is a great lens. Yes the bird shots were at 700 mm. I used a Canon 500mm f/4.0 IS USM with an Canon 1/4 extender II on a Gitso Monopod with a gimbal mount. I call it the Rocket Launcher, l.o.l.

I just looked at your dragonflys very impressive. yours are better I think. captured in more of a natural enviroment. mine was on our canopy. not very natural.
