Default How am I doing?

Please view some of my first photo's - I am just starting out. The world of photography is new, but very exciting for me. Wish me luck. Your feedback would be wonderful!

Hi KarGlo! I'm sorry about not commenting sooner on your photos. I saw them a couple of days ago at work, but didn't have time to comment at the time. I especially like the first two. The first has a variety of color and I like the lines in the repeating stems and cones. Similarly, I like the second for the windings of wire and the circular shape of the pulley. thanks for sharing!

You're off to a great start, KarGlo! Welcome to DPS! I, too, like the first two. Great color in the flowers....and the composition is right on in all of them. Keep it up! Looking forward to more...

I agree with the guys above....and for the same reasons. I think the yellow flower is not quite in focus...but I also like number 4. A very good start for sure. Keep coming back, you'll learn loads of good information.

I think you are doing very well. I like all four shots, but I find the flower shot a little out of focus. The other three are great in terms of focus, composition, and depth of field. Well done, and welcome to DPS.
