This is the first time I was able to get a decent photo of one of these in flight.

Very cool Chip, I saw some of these in Texas a couple of years ago. Have some pics but, nothing as good as this one. Great catch buddy.

Wow, chip!! I love that one. Great golden light and it actually looks kinda clumsy, which is different. I suppose you caught it right on takeoff, so it hadn't had time to get some speed and stretch out.

Great shot! I love those little rascals. They can be very funny. Here is a shot of mine of several Immature Ibis. Please enjoy.

I forgot to add. Look closely there are actually 4 in this shot. Check out the middle shot and you will see 4 little web feet.

Awww...Chip...this one is just fabulous. It's a study in awkward elegance. Could the light be any better? I was just thinking about your bird shots recently--how good you are at taking them--and wishing for another. Voila!
