Default Wetland Inhabitants.

Good Morning DPS Family! Well here are a few of the shots from the weekend, like I said, it was so crowded that most of the birds were too far away or had moved to other locations. But I managed a few.

I'm not sure what kind of Duck this is, but I found a couple of books on Amazon so I'll have some reference material soon. I liked the reflection on the water.

I've been trying to get a picture of an Egret actually catching a fish, and was finally successful.

Update: This is a " Great Tit" Thanks Dizwold for the i.d

Here's one of a Snowy Egret inflight across the wetlands, the blurry objects in the background are various kinds of waterfowl. Not my best, but I liked the wings.

Well that's it for this morning; I hope you enjoy these and have a Blessed Day!!!!
Michael.

A few extra people didn't put you off Michael, and armed with the EOS 40D and a lens the size of the Hubble Space Telescope, you've stalked and captured four more stunning images.
Hard to pick a favourite but both egret pictures are wonderful, especially where you caught him feeding, outstanding
