This is a very impressive portrait. To me it looks like some artist or craftsman who thinks he is the best at what he does and the world does not really deserves his creations.
What an expression on that face...
The angle of attack was smartly chosen to give the impression of somebody looking at you from above.
I thing it works pretty good!
