Default Favorite beach pictures

These are two of my favorite beach pictures. Taking pictures is not totally new to me, but before I have used automatic and let the camera do all of the decisions for me. I am now making the decisions and seeing the differences. Some friends have told me to post these pictures as they thought they were beautiful pictures. I am a perfectionist and am afraid to post for fear of being put down, but I want to learn and get better. I am using the critique forum as well.

Nice pics canyongirl. You are learning, like me. Just keep fiddling with the knobs, dials and buttons, pressing the shutter release and analysing the data. If you are like me, you'll want to know everything on day 1. Frustrating isn't it? Keep clicking. God bless for now. PAUL

Thank you, Brian and Paul for the positive comments. Yes, it is frustrating, but I want to learn, so I keep moving forward and pushing the button. Thank you for the welcome as well! Blessings to you as well Paul.

i'd echo bascott's comments (and not just because he said nice things about a shot i just posted) and say that the first is really nicely composed and looks great.

Thank you for welcome and thank you for the positive comment. The coastline and ocean is my favorite place to find peace and take pictures.
